Course description

This is an intensive theory based weekend course, with 13 hours of teaching spread over 2 days and a maximum of 10 attendees. Unlike most dissection courses which focus on learning surgical procedures, this course focuses on teaching you the knowledge required for passing the anatomy components of postgraduate exams. The regional anatomy of the head and neck is complex due to the numerous interconnected spaces and the sheer density of structures packed into these regions. Our course aims to develop your spatial awareness and allow you to visualize the anatomy in your minds eye. Teaching is informal and relaxed, with concepts fully explored and ample opportunity provided to ask questions. Each attendee will receive a detailed course companion guide (pdf file). Refreshments will be provided throughout the day however, lunch is NOT provided for this event.

Who is this course aimed for

This course is primarily aimed at those revising anatomy for the following exams: Membership and Fellowship of the Royal College Of Surgeons (MRCS & FRCS), the Diploma in Otolaryngology (DO-HNS) and the Diploma in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology (DDMFR). The course is also suitable for students and allied health professionals, who are looking to develop a deeper understanding of head & neck clinical anatomy.
